CREATING THE FUTURE WE WANT
#WethePeopleRise

Message from our founder, Kristin Hiemstra:
We The People Rise isn’t another movement of empty speeches. It’s a clarion call for anyone who dares to believe we can build a country rooted in happiness and wellbeing for all.
George Washington and James Madison spilled the tea long ago—politicians love forming cliques (a.k.a. factions) that serve themselves more than the people, leading to a nation in peril. The solution they saw? Stability and joy don’t come from sameness. They come from a rich, diverse mix of citizens—just like in nature, where variety makes everything stronger. This diversity makes it safe for all to thrive and allows ingenious ideas to flow. And as Patrick Henry reminded us, liberty isn’t something handed to us—it’s something we live, boldly and in action.
Likewise, the strength of our nation depends on the wellbeing of all its people. At WTPR, our focus is on supporting U.S. citizens in engaging their talents and building bridges among our citizens. When we are healthy and grounded, we choose connection over conflict, solutions over blame, and healing over harm. When we feel psychologically safe, we open our arms to new people and experiences. When we don't, we shut out others and circle the wagons.
This rising isn’t about politicians at all—it’s about us: the people, both collectively and individually. We are the ones to change the country from the inside out. In the process, we are claiming the power that was always meant for us to use—the power to create, connect, thrive, and finally flip the script from division to possibility.“We the People” really does mean all of us—every dreamer, doer, neighbor, and friend, no matter your age, beliefs, or background. There’s no us vs. them here.
So here’s your invite: hop on a Wednesday call, join a Joy Group, Volunteer or become part of the Founder's Circle. We are starting small and would love your ideas, involvement, and talents.
Got a few bucks? We’ll take those too.
The future we’re building together is beautiful. We need you to make it real.
Kristin
